If you have a child (above the age 3) invest in some Window Clings. Buy them from the dollar bins, before and after holidays, office supply stores, teacher supply stores… anywhere you can find them.
My children get bored with their toys (think of the times you take your child to another child’s house and how they go bananas with all the new- to them- toys) and sometimes changing up or rotating the toys is not enough. Also, this is another great “trick up your sleeve” for rainy days.

Both my 3-year-old and my 8-year-old love counting, sorting, identifying and using their imagination with window clings. There’s something about them that is so fun and interesting. Maybe it’s because they are like stickers; which are banned on basically everything but paper.

Just be prepared for messy windows when all is said and done. Especially if they are snacking while playing.

I’ve been called “maternal” since the day I could hold a baby doll. I’ve become a pregnancy, baby and parenting resource since having my first child almost 10 years ago. This is my blog and where I share my journey through parenthood with you.
