This is one that I use daily.
Not only do we have a changing table upstairs- in the nursery, we have one in the playroom, too! But I take it a step further and I hide diapering supplies in a few locations around the house.
The first location is in our family room.
Here’s my sofa table with some Real Simple mags, a picture, a fake plant, some deco stuff and… a basket.
Inside that basket?
Diapers, Pull-Ups, Yo Gabba Gabba underwear, a bag of wipes and a folded changing pad.
This works really well for parents of multiples, large houses and lazy smart people. I don’t have a large house but I do have multiple kids and this is a lifesaver when you have two out of three kids with their shoes on, scratching at the front door only to get a whiff of your toddler’s behind as he dashes by you towards the front door. Instead of getting everyone to wait longer than they really need to (it’s all about sanity savers), you bust out the changing pad and whip up a speedy diaper change while keeping one eye on the anxious children waiting by the front door.

I’ve been called “maternal” since the day I could hold a baby doll. I’ve become a pregnancy, baby and parenting resource since having my first child almost 10 years ago. This is my blog and where I share my journey through parenthood with you.
