Created by David Netto this modern puzzle is a beautiful addition to any nursery
- Let me start by saying that David Netto is a genius. I adore basically everything this man creates so it’s no surprise that I fell in love with this wooden children’s puzzle. The attention to detail with the colors, the clean and simple design and the beautiful picture on the back of the tray make everything about this puzzle interesting and intriguing to parents and children alike.
Puzzle pieces can be arranged on their own or in the tray, which serves as a backdrop for children to learn about life in the Arctic zone.
- This puzzle is more than just a puzzle as it can be used for many, many years. As a new mom you can display the arctic animals in the nursery until your child reaches age 3.
- My 3-year-old uses his imagination while manipulating the perfectly sized pieces to create his own story. He plays quietly on the floor with the penguins, polar bears, whale– including the Narwhal– sea lion and icebergs while marching and scooting each piece with his own little plan– like 3-year-olds do.
- My 9-year-old prefers to study the scene on the back of the tray and is more interested in what each arctic animal is called. Narwhal? He asked. Then he dashed to his bedroom to grab a book. The pieces and scene create an interesting starting point for children to learn and explore arctic animals and their surroundings.
- The puzzle is a little too advanced for my 3-year-old but he still tries! My 9-year-old is able to complete the puzzle on his own without any help. I would say that the puzzle– the act of fitting all the pieces together in the tray– is best suited for 5 and up. But with that said, I completed the puzzle with my 3-year-old and we had a great time doing it together.

I would love to win this for my 16mo old daughter…it would be great to have these large chunky pieces for her to learn with!
I think this is really unique and my nearly 2 year old would LOVE this! We are always trying to get more puzzles because it seems as soon as we get a new one he figures it out.
I love this puzzle because how versatile it is that it will be entertaining for several years. I also love when animals are grouped into the regions that they live to help with teaching your children about different areas….even though penguins don’t live in the artic….still a cute puzzle.
It looks very cute. I am sure my boys will love playing the individual puzzle pieces and the whole puzzle when they are older. The colors and concept seem very cool.
My daughter loves animals, and would surely get some good playing time out of this!
My grandson loves puzzles. He would love this
