Another name we’ve known and trusted in this house throughout the years is Boppy. We started off with a Boppy Pillow in the home, a Boppy Pillow that had a removable toy bar (which is no longer available), we bought one specifically for my parent’s house and then a new one with each subsequent child. The reversible pillow allows moms to customize their comfort and support based on their individual preferences. Not all moms prefer one support style when it comes to nursing – and, I’ve found, my preference for nursing support can also vary and depends on my location – if I’m sitting in bed, on the couch or in the nursery glider. The firm flat surface features a soft minky fabric and provides a stable platform for nursing. The flat surface also has a built-in contoured ledge design to aid in getting baby in the proper latching position. The softer fiber-filled side is more like the original Boppy pillow, as it offers a more snuggly surface. Either way you prefer to use it, the Boppy Nursing Pillow is designed to position baby higher and closer to mom, which is the ideal breastfeeding position for both mom and baby. I think the varied support is great. I love the original boppy but this seems far better for nursing. My hands were so numb that I could hardly hold my daughter in the hospital. This would have been perfect for that!

The strap is great
I have 2 of the original Boppy pillows. I’ve always found that they’re not high enough. This means that even with the boppy, I have to nurse hunched over my babies. Love that it is higher and angled to position baby better! Should help Mommy’s back/neck and keep baby at a better position on the breast, leading to less latch problems. Would Love to try it!
