The New Luxe Lounge at the La Costa Resort and Spa

My favorite staycation location, La Costa Resort and Spa, has enhanced their spa experience to make it easier and that much more special for small groups to celebrate together. The brand new Luxe Lounge offers a private indoor social space for up to 10 people with custom packages for almost every occasion – baby showers, wedding showers, a girls day out and even a kids mini-spa party.

The ultra chic spa suite has six loungers, a table for four, a flat screen TV and a buffet to hold festive food and drinks.

I recently experienced the Sex and the City Spa Party at the new Luxe Lounge for a Girls Day Out. We lunched, chatted, drooled over the movie selection, drank Bellini’s (mine was a virgin, of course) and had a blast! We donned Spa robes while receiving reflexology massages and had many conversations about our plans to never leave.

I love and much prefer parties in small, intimate groups. My wedding party was small, my wedding and baby showers were small and I prefer smaller birthday parties – even for my kids! Things are not only more manageable; we seem to enjoy ourselves more when there are less people. Our Girls Day Out this past weekend at The Spa at La Costa was a perfect example of just that.
